Enrichment
Green Vale is pleased to offer a variety of high-quality instructional and recreational activities on campus for Kindergarten through 4th Grade students, immediately following the regular school day. Families register for After-School Enrichment through the same platform as GVS June Programs. We ask that you register no later than Monday, September 14, for the Fall Season.
Here are login instructions for first-time users.
- First-time login instructions: Click the "Login Using GVS Credentials" button at the bottom of the page. This will direct you to the Academic Portal, where you’ll use your GVS login credentials.
- Follow the instructions at the top of each page to guide you through registration.
Registration begins on Monday, August 24.
Extended/Late Day
The Extended Day program offers families a childcare solution beyond regular school hours. With supervision, snacks, and activities, the program provides flexibility in scheduling and pick-up times with a varied fee structure.
Extended Day opens September 9 for Kindergarten through 8th Grade students, September 16 for Pre-Kindergarten students, and September 22 for Nursery students. Please complete the form below to select your days for the Fall Season, which runs until December 17. We ask that you register no later than Friday, September 25, for the Fall Season.
Monday—Thursday
- Nursery through 2nd Grade students
- Regular dismissal through 5 PM
Friday
- Nursery through 8th Grade students
- Students bring their own nut-free lunch.
- 12 through 4 PM
Picking Up Your Child
Please park and collect your child directly from the Extended Day room, located beneath the dining hall in the Lower School building. We kindly ask parents to adhere to the closing time of the program. If you are running late due to extenuating circumstances, please call the main office at 516-621-2420.
Bus Note
School districts generally do not permit younger students to board later buses than the regular dismissal time for their grade. For Kindergarten—2nd Grade, please check your district’s policy on taking the 4:20 PM bus. Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten students are not permitted to ride buses.
Note: On Fridays there is no bus service for any children beyond 12:25 PM.
Fees
Prices refer to each timeframe or "session" that a child stays each day. Partial sessions are priced as a full session. Fees are invoiced on student accounts based on registration selections.

Study Hall
The Study Hall program is available to students in 3rd and 4th Grade and provides a structured environment for students to complete homework and receive support, with time set aside for recess. Study Hall runs Monday through Thursday from 3-4:20 PM.
Please complete the form below to select your days for the Fall Season, which runs from September 14-December 17. We ask that you register no later than Friday, September 25, for the Fall Season. The second session sign up will be sent in early December.

4th-6th Grade - GV Gives Service Squad (coming soon)
Students will engage in meaningful, hands-on service projects that support our local community. Activities may include preparing sandwiches for local pantries, decorating lunch bags for children in need, helping around campus, or participating in other age-appropriate outreach efforts. These shared experiences nurture empathy, teamwork, responsibility, and the joy of making a positive impact. The entire program fee goes directly toward purchasing supplies for each service project.
