Arrival & Dismissal

Arrival by Car (Monday – Friday)      
8:00 – 8:25 AM 1st-3rd Grade Lower School Circle Gate A
  4th-8th Grade Watters Center  Gate C, rear lot
8:25 – 8:40 AM Pre-Nursery Early Childhood Playground Gate C, front lot
8:25 AM  Nursery– Kindergarten Child’s Classroom Entrance Gate C, front lot
Arrival by Bus
Kindergarten– 8th Grade students will be greeted by GVS security or an administrator and directed to the appropriate early morning room or sent to their classroom.
Late Arrivals
Any student arriving after 8:25 AM should proceed through Gate A and check in with Ms. Murphy in the Administration Building for a Late Pass.
Dismissal by Car (Monday-Thursday)      
11:45 AM Pre-Nursery Early Childhood Playground Gate C, front lot
1:30 PM Nursery Early Childhood Playground Gate C, front lot
3:00 PM PK & Kindergarten Child's Classroom Entrance Gate C, front lot
  1st & 2nd Grade Lower School Circle Gate A
  3rd & 4th Grade Watters Center Gate C, back lot
4:20 PM 5th & 6th Grade Lower School Circle Gate A
  7th & 8th Grade Watters Center Gate C, back lot
Dismissal by Car (Friday)      
11:45 AM Pre-Nursery Early Childhood Playground Gate C, front
12:00 PM                                 Nursery – Kindergarten Child’s Classroom Entrance Gate C, front
12:25 PM 1st-3rd Grade Lower School Circle Gate A
  4th-8th Grade         Watters Center Gate C, back
Dismissal by Bus
3:00 & 4:20 PM (M-Th.) and 12:25 PM (Friday)
Kindergarten - 8th Grade students will be escorted to their designated bus & helped to board bus if needed.
Extended Day Dismissal      
  Nursery – 2nd Grade Extended Day Room Gates A or C, front
  3rd & 4th Grade Lower School Circle Gate A
Siblings
In all cases, when siblings are being dismissed at the same time, use the drop-off and pick-up location for the youngest child. The older child(ren) will wait there as well.
