Application Process

The Admissions team is here to assist you through the process. 

NEW for the 2026-2027 school year: 
For candidates considering Pre-Nursery - 8th grade, the Admissions Portal will open the first week of August.
Early applications (and all checklist steps) must be completed by December 1st, with decisions mailed out the first week of January.

Applications received after December 1st  will be reviewed on a rolling basis, pending availability in the grade.


Age Requirement:
Applicants, especially in Early Childhood, must meet a  September 1st age cut-off. 
  • Pre-Nursery (age 2 by September 1)
  • Nursery (age 3 by September 1)
  • Pre-K (age 4 by September 1)
  • Kindergarten (age 5 by September 1)

Application Process

1 -  Visit Campus 

Let us show you all that Green Vale has to offer!
Private tours are offered daily and on select Saturdays and holidays. In addition, the School hosts a variety of special events that we encourage you to attend.

 

2 -  Submit an Application

Families may submit an application at any time using Green Vale's secure online platform. Once an account has been created, an individualized checklist will be emailed to you outinling the next steps in the process.  
Checklist steps will vary based on the age of your child.

For any siblings that you would like to add, simply click on the the "Add a Student" button on the right side of the Parent Portal. 

There is a non-refundable application fee of $75, per student

 

3 -  Provide Student Records

Once an application is received, the Parent Portal will allow you to upload a photo and any requested academic records, as well as a teacher recommendation.
 

4  - Schedule a Parent Meeting

Taking time to get to know every family is a critical part of the admissions process. Parent meetings are conducted via Zoom, and provide us with the opportunity to learn more about your child(ren) and answer any questions that you have regarding Green Vale.
 

5  -  Schedule a Student Visit 

Student visits are a great way for your child(ren) to experience first hand what it is like to be a Green Vale student, and spend the day getting  to know their peers.

Visits are hosted on select days and vary in duration based on the age of your child. 

 

6  -  Apply for Financial Assistance (optional) 

Applicants to Green Vale are accepted for admission on a need-blind basis. Our Financial Aid Committee begins reviewing applications for the upcoming school year starting in November.

Decisions & Enrollment

Applications are accepted beginning the first Monday in August, and must be completed by December 1st in order to be considered at the first committee meeting. The first round of decisions will be mailed out to families the first week of January, with enrollment contracts distributed in February.  

After December 1st,  completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, pending availability in the grade.
Admissions Committee meetings are held at the end of each month, with decisions mailed out soon after.

Financial Aid applications may be submitted starting on November 1st and are due by the end of December. Any award granted will be reflected in the student's enrollment contract.  Financial Aid applications submitted after the deadline will be considered pending the availability of funds.
