Green Vale Middle School Students Studying

We are accepting applications for 2023-2024!

New students may apply into any grade. Admission will be offered depending on student qualifications and grade capacity. We are proud to receive applications from families throughout Long Island. The current student body represents 42 school districts in Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens counties.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis, and decisions are communicated on the last Friday of every month. However due to high applicant interest in certain grades, we recommend submitting your application prior to January 15.

We look forward to getting to know your family!

1. Submit an Inquiry Form
Families interested in learning more about Green Vale are encouraged to submit an inquiry form. From here you may elect to attend an event, schedule a call, a tour or a meeting, or simply request more information.

2. Visit Campus
Let us show you all that Green Vale has to offer. Private tours are offered daily and on select Saturdays and holidays. We also welcome you to attend one of our upcoming events.

3. Complete an Application
Families may submit an application at any time using Green Vale's secure online platform. Once an account has been created, an individualized checklist will outline next steps. Additional children may be added using the "Add a Student" button on the right side of the parent page.

Please note that Green Vale uses a September 1st cut-off for most applicants/grades.
There is a non-refundable application fee of $75 per student

4. Submit Student Records
Once an application is received, a checklist in the Admission Portal will allow you to upload your child’s academic records, as well as submit a request for a teacher recommendation.
Please note that the requirements vary according to the age of the child.

5. Schedule a Parent Meeting & Student Visit
Taking time to get to know every family is a critical part of the admissions process. Parent meetings are conducted via Zoom and provide us with the opportunity to learn more about your child(ren) and answer any questions that you have regarding Green Vale.

Student visits are hosted on campus, Monday-Thursday, and allow your child to experience what it is like to be a Green Vale student and for us to get to know them and benchmark their academic and social emotional strengths.

6. Apply for Tuition Assistance (optional)
Applicants to Green Vale are accepted for admission on a need-blind basis. Our Financial Aid Committee begins reviewing applications for the upcoming school year each November.

To be considered, please complete an application through School & Student Services (SSS).
The Green Vale SSS Code is 3562.

7. Decisions and Enrollment
Applications are accepted and processed on a rolling basis. The Admissions Committee meets at the end of each month to review applicant files received that month. Decisions are communicated by the Director of Admissions by email and postal mail.

Formal enrollment contracts are distributed at the end of January. Executed contracts along with a 10% deposit are expected within three weeks of receipt.
