Our Teachers

Our Teachers

Everyone agrees: our faculty is our greatest asset.

Green Vale’s diverse and dedicated faculty are experts in their fields and, most importantly, are passionate about their role in helping develop confident and capable people who will contribute to the greater good.  By choosing to work at Green Vale as opposed to a public school, teachers enjoy greater teaching autonomy and feel a far greater sense of impact that comes from truly knowing each child. The nature of the GVS community means that teachers get to watch former students grow up and thrive as they succeed in later grades. Over the years, students, in turn, collect a fan club of adults who know and care about them.

Professional Development

Teachers are supported by an administration committed to ongoing professional development. Through a generous faculty enrichment program, they regularly attend local and national conferences and workshops on myriad topics. They may also apply for extended study or travel. Through these activities, teachers model "life-long learning", expanding their own horizons and discovering their own potential. Such behavior is a cornerstone of our Values.
