Our 7th Graders just got a taste of diplomacy—and it was world-class! They had the incredible opportunity to visit the United Nations Headquarters in NYC, where they delved into the world of global citizenship.
The students explored how diplomacy shapes our world and connected these lessons to their language studies. From understanding how different languages serve as bridges between cultures to seeing firsthand how international cooperation works, it was an unforgettable experience that brought their classroom learning to life.
The visit sparked thoughtful discussions about the role each of us plays in fostering global understanding and peace. The students left with a newfound appreciation for the skills they’re building in the classroom, knowing that the world they’re learning about is one they’ll help shape in the future. It was a day of learning, inspiration, and connection—one that will stay with them for years to come.
