Making a Difference: 7th Graders Volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House

A group of 7th Grade students volunteered their Friday afternoon at the Ronald McDonald House, making the lives of others just a little bit easier.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a welcoming place for families with children receiving medical treatment, offering them a home-like environment close to the hospital. Our students had the opportunity to tour the House, and the guide was impressed by their engagement and politeness. It was clear that they were not just learning about the impact of the Ronald McDonald House but were truly connected to its mission.

The students also helped prepare food, contributing to an essential service for the families staying there. Whether making sandwiches or assisting with other tasks, they took great pride in knowing their efforts would bring comfort to those facing challenging times. Their eagerness to help in any way possible demonstrated a spirit of service that was inspiring to witness.

This opportunity allowed the students to come together and make a real impact, showcasing care, compassion, and a spirit of giving that will touch everyone involved.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Ronald McDonald House and for the thoughtful and generous actions of our 7th Grade students. Their efforts truly reflect the values we cherish at Green Vale—caring for others and making a difference in our community.
