A Celebration of Kindness and Joy on Valentine’s Day

A Celebration of Kindness and Joy on Valentine’s Day

From sweet notes and thoughtful gestures to smiles shared across campus, Green Vale was filled with warmth and kindness this Valentine’s Day. Students and faculty embraced the spirit of the holiday by dressing in shades of pink and red, creating a vibrant display of love and camaraderie.

For our youngest learners, the day held a special tradition—Pre-K students embarked on their annual trip to the post office, carefully mailing Valentine’s letters to their families. This heartwarming experience gave them the joy of sending love in a tangible way while learning about the magic of mail.

In Lower School, 4th and 5th Graders took time to celebrate friendship by writing what they loved about their classmates and proudly displaying these thoughtful notes on their lockers. The hallways became a tapestry of uplifting words, reminding students of the value of appreciation and kindness.

Meanwhile, Upper Schoolers spread joy through kindness grams, crafting heartfelt messages and surprising a selected classmate with their delivery. This simple act reinforced the power of words and how even the smallest gesture can brighten someone’s day.

At Green Vale, Valentine’s Day is more than just a celebration—it’s a reflection of a community that puts kindness and joy at the forefront, not just on February 14 but every day.
