School Leadership
Green Vale is an independent school, incorporated as a non-profit organization, and governed by its own Board of Trustees, which is entrusted to defining, preserving, and promoting the School’s mission. Trustees are parents, alumni, and alumni parents, each selected for a four year term. The Board of Trustees sets school policy, is responsible for its financial condition and physical plant, and selects and works with the Headmaster in governance of the School. The Board of Trustees is not responsible for the day-to-day operations of the School. The Headmaster runs the School according to the policies established by the Board of Trustees and serves as the educational leader.
Board Committees include: Committee on Trustees; Strategic Planning; Finance; Faculty & Academic Affairs Committee; Buildings & Grounds Committee; Marketing & Admissions Committee; and the Development Committee.
