Student Musicians Earn All-County Recognition
Eight students at The Green Vale School in Old Brookville have been accepted into the highly selective 2012 All-County Music Festival sponsored by the Nassau Music Educators Association. In January, they will take part in an intense week of rehearsals with other students from across Nassau County. The culminating performances (band, orchestra and chorus) will take place on the stage of the Tilles Center.
In addition to this honor, fifth grade student Jade has also earned a spot in the Long Island String Festival. Congratulations to all!
